Kevin Pietersen returned to cricket for the
Delhi Daredevils in their 52-run win over Kolkata Knight Riders in the
Twenty20 Champions League.
The 32-year-old struck 14 runs from 18 balls for the Indian
franchise against the Knight Riders before being dismissed by old
adversary Brett Lee.
Making his first appearance since being sidelined by England during the Test series against South Africa


He just seemed to be moving into a rhythm when he attempted an on-side pull shot off Lee - only to find Sunil Narine at deep mid-wicket.
But Unmukt Chand (40) and Ross Taylor

Lakshmipathy Balaji broke the stand by dismissing Taylor, while West Indies spinner Narine breached Chand's defences and finished with figures of 3-21 as the Daredevils ended on 160-8.
Kolkata's reply was soon in ruins as Irfan Pathan
