The Scottish Football Association
have recalled the striker together with Manchester United
midfielder Darren Fletcher
for the games against Wales and Belgium.Fletcher
has not featured for his country since informing the SFA he did not wish to be selected for a fixture against Northern Ireland
in February 2011.But the latest decision, which comes as a surprise amid an ongoing spat between Fletcher and boss Craig Levein,
will see the 25-year-old back in the fold.Fletcher will prove a vital addition to a Scotland team in desperate need of a goalscorer, with the striker having bagged five goals for Sunderland
this season in four appearances.Levein previously refused to pick Fletcher in his squad, despite the former Wolves man insisting he would happily play for the side last month.
Darren Fletcher makes his comeback after a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a chronic bowel condition.
The midfielder, who won the last of his 58 caps against Cyprus last November, is back playing for United after 10 months out.
