Manchester United have left out a string of big names for Tuesday's UEFA Champions League Group H game away to Galatasaray.
United have already qualified for the last 16 of the competition as group winners and the likes of captain Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand and Robin van Persie have been left behind.Wayne Rooney has also not travelled to Turkey, despite taking part in training on Monday after missing the weekend's Premier League defeat at Norwich City due to tonsillitis.
Paul Scholes was absent too, while Ryan Giggs, the only survivor from that 1993 'Welcome to Hell' expedition to Istanbul, was omitted following his appearance at Carrow Road.
David de Gea did not travel even though he also trained on Monday after having his wisdom teeth removed last week.
It means Sir Alex Ferguson's team will have a strong infusion of youth, including Nick Powell, the summer signing from Crewe.
Josh King, Davide Petrucci, Tom Thorpe and Ryan Tunnicliffe are among those hopeful of having some involvement in the Champions League for the first time.
Squad: Johnstone, Lindegaard; Rafael, Buttner, Jones, Thorpe, Vermijl, Wootton; Carrick, Petrucci, Cole, Cleverley, Fletcher, Anderson, Powell, Young, Tunnicliffe; Hernandez, King, Welbeck, Macheda.
