Scotland recall Euan Murray and David Denton to face South Africa

Scotland head coach Andy Robinson has made two changes for their game with South Africa on Saturday, with Euan Murray and David Denton getting the call.

Murray sat out Sunday's 51-22 defeat to New Zealand for religious reasons but he returns to replace Geoff Cross at prop in Robinson's starting line-up at Murrayfield.
Denton comes in for Ross Rennie, who has a dislocated shoulder, with the Edinburgh forward starting at No.8 meaning captain Kelly Brown makes the switch to openside flanker.
Hooker Dougie Hall starts as a substitute ahead of Scott Lawson, while Cross drops to the bench in place of Allan Jacobsen, who is unavailable for selection due for personal reasons.
John Barclay returns to the matchday squad and his Glasgow Warriors team-mate Peter Murchie, who replaces Max Evans on the bench, will be hoping to earn his first cap.
"I was pleased with Euan's contribution both at scrummage and in open play during the summer tour, while David Denton's aggressive carrying is something that really gets the crowd going," said Robinson.
As for the game itself, Robinson conceded they will be in for a tough physical encounter against the Springboks.
"We know we're in for a bruising battle against South Africa this weekend and we will be primed for that physical confrontation," he added.
"But we also have to be smart in how we approach this game and do our utmost to ensure we get on the front foot and get the result that will move us into the top eight in the IRB world rankings ahead of next month's 2015 Rugby World Cup draw."
Scotland: Hogg, S Lamont, De Luca, Scott, Visser, Laidlaw, Blair; Grant, Ford, Murray, Gray, Hamilton, Strokosch, Brow, Denton.
Replacements: Hall, Traynor, Cross, Kellock, Barclay, Pyrgos, Jackson, Murchie.
