Manchester United saw off Arsenal to knock Chelsea off the top spot after the Blues were held to a late draw at Swansea.

Tottenham suffered a shock defeat at home to Wigan, while Everton were forced to share the spoils at Fulham.
Champions Manchester City were held by West Ham United as Norwich City and Aston Villa picked up narrow wins over Stoke City and Sunderland respectively.
Manchester United striker Robin van Persie showed his former club Arsenal what they are missing as he fired home the Red Devils' opener inside three minutes at Old Trafford to inspire a 2-1 win in Saturday's lunchtime kick-off.
Sir Alex Ferguson's men were the superior side throughout and Van Persie reminded the Gunners of his talents in the opening moments as Thomas Vermaelen failed to deal with Rafael's cross and the Dutchman pounced to fire past Vito Mannone.
Wayne Rooney missed a penalty for the home side towards the end of the first half after a Santi Cazorla handball but Patrice Evra piled more misery on the Gunners when he doubled the scoreline after heading home a Rooney cross in the 67th minute.
Arsenal's afternoon went from bad to worse two minutes later as England midfielder Jack Wilshere, making only his second appearance for Arsene Wenger's side after a long injury lay-off, was dismissed after picking up a second yellow card for a tackle on goalscorer Evra.
Cazorla pulled one back for the 10-man visitors with a curling effort deep into stoppage-time but it was no more than a consolation strike as the Gunners left Old Trafford empty-handed, having been largely outplayed by their bitter rivals.
Chelsea slid into second in the table as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Swansea thanks to Pablo Hernandez's late equaliser.
The Blues took the lead with just over an hour on the clock after Gary Cahill's header from an Eden Hazard corner hit Victor Moses' back and ricocheted in.
But Hernandez was the hero for the Swans as he drilled home a low shot in the dying stages to hand the hosts a point.
Manchester City maintained their unbeaten start to the season, but were unable to claim all three points after a 0-0 stalemate at West Ham United.
The Hammers came closest to scoring when Kevin Nolan had an early goal disallowed for offside while Yossi Benayoun saw a shot hit the bar.

Marouane Fellaini netted a double against Fulham but could not inspire an Everton win as Steve Sidwell scored a last-gasp equaliser to hold the visitors to a 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage.
Fulham opened up an early lead thanks to an own goal from Toffees goalkeeper Tim Howard, who inadvertently knocked in an excellent seventh-minute free-kick from Bryan Ruiz as it came back off the post.
But the visitors dominated after that early strike, eventually seeing rewards for their efforts in the 55th minute, when Fellaini side-footed home a Kevin Mirallas cross for a deserved equaliser.
The influential midfielder then added another just over 10 minutes later, showing great skill to bring down and control a long Phil Jagielka ball before driving home a low shot into the bottom right-hand corner.
However, there was time for a final twist as Sidwell came off the bench to turn in the leveller from close range.
Wigan claimed a shock 1-0 triumph at Tottenham thanks to Ben Watson's winner, with the midfielder hitting home in the 56th minute.
Watson bundled the ball over the line at White Hart Lane after Tottenham goalkeeper Brad Friedel had palmed out Shaun Maloney's corner.
Norwich got back to winning ways as Bradley Johnson's strike handed them a 1-0 victory over Stoke at Carrow Road.
Johnson fired the Canaries ahead on the stroke of half-time, rising to meet a curling free-kick from Robert Snodgrass with a glancing header, bending the ball into the far corner.
Aston Villa claimed a much-needed 1-0 success at Sunderland as Gabby Agbonlahor grabbed a second-half winner.
The Midlanders broke the deadlock in the 57th minute, with Matty Lowton lifting in a cross for Christian Benteke in the box and the Belgian nodding it on to strike partner Agbonlahor, who made no mistake smashing it into the roof of the net from close range.
